VM: Passtrough have stoped working ??

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm on 6.1.7

Suddenly I cant passtrough my GPU that have been working for a veryyy loooong time.

I need to enable function cgroup_device_acl in /etc/libvirt/qemu.conf and add my vfio group 13 and 15 to get passtrough work

I don't know what have been change, passtrough was working on all earlier V6 and also 6.1.7  this morning.

cgroup_device_acl = [
    "/dev/null", "/dev/full", "/dev/zero",
    "/dev/random", "/dev/urandom",
    "/dev/ptmx", "/dev/kvm", "/dev/kqemu",
    "/dev/rtc","/dev/hpet", "/dev/vfio/13", "/dev/vfio/15", "/dev/vfio/vfio"
]

The zip file was to large I needed to remove libvirtd.log

I have also updated to 6.1.7 and have not this problem. I have all 33 vfio in the config file.

It almost seems like your domain.img file isn't loaded and the default qemu.conf gets loaded.

Do you have this line if you type mount?

/boot/config/plugins/dynamix.kvm.manager/domain.img on /etc/libvirt type ext4 (rw)

  • Author

mount show  this ...

/boot/config/plugins/dynamix.kvm.manager/domain.img on /etc/libvirt type ext4 (rw)

  • Author

I need to find a way to recreate domain.img and redefine my VM.
