Snow Leopard Help Needed

Featured Replies

I have 3 mac mini's all connecting to my unraid (4.2.2) and all without problems.  Connect by SMB://unraid/media

However, I just got a new imac with Leopard and not only can I not connect, safari bombs out when I try to go to http://unraid/main.htm  It asks for user name and password then just bombs out.

It works fine on my mini's with leopard and an old pc i have laying around.

Struggling here, any help would be appreciated.

however I upgraded to beta7 unraid and now it connects to the IP fine smb://192.168.1.x but still not the name as all my other servers are and I can't monitor it via the web. dying here!

i had the same problem. its not a problem with the DNS, but with the emhttp i think. since i had the username and password enabled on my unraid for www access i figured that was it. i got around this by importing my keychain from my previous install which had a username/password already for the unraid www access and it's been working fine this way.

if you've got a copy of your keychain, try using that and see if it fixes your problem like it did mine

Try firefox or turn off authentication.  Safari crashes when login is enabled for some reason.
