Help with par2.

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm looking for any help how to get par2 running on unraid. All I could find is some outdated topics. What I need is simply check my downloads with par2 files included. On my windows server I've been using quickpar but doing it over the network from my desktop is painfully slow. I have no experience with Linux so if someone would be so kind to point me where to download it and what command line to run  would be much appreciated.

[EDIT]  oh before someone asks, I like to keep par and rar files so don't like sab to touch those.

Thank you

You should setup NZBGet but configure it to not delete par2. There is no reason in this day an age to manually deal with par2 files from usenet downloads.

Thank you both for your help, I'll look into setting up nzb get.
