October 27, 200916 yr Howdy and sorry for the problems, upgrading has been smooth for almost everyone else. My first recommendation would be to 'upgrade' to v4.3.3, just to ensure there were no mistakes in methodology in upgrading. If that works successfully, then try upgrading to v4.4.2, and tell us how that works. Do you know if you were using any unusual boot codes, or custom syslinux.cfg entries? Also, what hardware are you using? Anything non-standard?

Also, what hardware are you using? Anything non-standard? The issue the panic is complaining about seems to be that the syslinux.cfg on the flash drive does not seem to have a valid line in it similar to this: append initrd=bzroot I'd go through the steps of re-loading syslinux and then copying the syslinux.cfg from the distribution to the root folder of the flash drive. It could be as simple as "you did not eject the flash drive safely from the PC" when you upgraded. Joe L.
October 27, 200916 yr Author I am tried download unRaid 4.4.2 and 4.5-beta7 again. Copy bzimage and bzroot to flashdrive again but do not works.... I have in syslinux.cfg: default menu.c32 menu title Lime Technology LLC prompt 0 timeout 10 label unRAID OS menu default kernel bzimage append initrd=bzroot rootdelay=10 label Memtest86+ kernel memtest I am repeatedly delete on USB flash drive bzimage, bzroot and copy new unRaid 4.4.2 and boot. Boot and kernel panic.... Then I am copy 4.5-beta7 to flash and boot - Kernel Panic... and again, again... I am "safely remove drive" from Windows every time. I am last copy unRaid 4.4.2 and now BOOTED.... but wait for S10-initallpk[1368]: Installing /boot/packages/unweb.tgz...but http://tower:89 working If I am remove unweb.tgz then booting continues and http://tower:89 not working. Why is sensitive this distro for copy to USB? I am attach syslog with unweb.tgz and without unweb.tgz. My HW configuration of unRaid server is bellow under line. Thanks for help me
October 29, 200916 yr I am attach syslog without unweb.tgz. To get unraidweb to install properly on boot you need to change the command to start it from: installpkg /boot/custom/packages/unraidweb-0.1.04-i386-bubba.tgz to: echo "installpkg /boot/custom/packages/unraidweb-0.1.04-i386-bubba.tgz" | at now + 1 minute The reason for this can be found in this thread(which also references another thread with more detailed explaination) http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=4436.0 If you are using unmenu, the file that needs to be edited is in your package directory called unraidweb-0.1.04-i386-bubba.tgz.auto_install If you are not using unmenu, then you will need to edit the file that is run by your "s10-installpkg" script to install unraidweb. Cheers, Matt PS, here is my package file for unraidweb with the corrected PACKAGE_INSTALLATION lines. filename: unraid_web-unmenu-package.conf PACKAGE_NAME unRAID-Web v0.1.04 PACKAGE_DESCR A complete web server with php for unRAID. PACKAGE_DESCR You access it by going to http://servername:89 or http://serverIP:89 PACKAGE_URL http://www.tcpatools.com/bubba/unraidweb-0.1.04-i386-bubba.tgz PACKAGE_FILE unraidweb-0.1.04-i386-bubba.tgz PACKAGE_MD5 6030325176a43e4ed27dc55fc3c88111 PACKAGE_INSTALLED /usr/sbin/lighttpd PACKAGE_DEPENDENCIES none PACKAGE_INSTALLATION echo "installpkg /boot/custom/packages/unraidweb-0.1.04-i386-bubba.tgz" | at now + 1 minute PACKAGE_VERSION_TEST echo "unRAID-Web V0.1.04" PACKAGE_VERSION_STRING unRAID-Web V0.1.04 PACKAGE_MEMORY_USAGE High (10M to 20M)
October 29, 200916 yr Aside from the unweb difference, I don't see any real problems in either syslog, no panics at all. It appears like the system is working fine. Perhaps I don't understand the problem? I had thought you were unable to boot.
