My deluge suddently not working. I get this error in the log:

Error: error sending query: Error creating socket

I have tried with qbittorrent too - the same problem.

I'm using PIA.

Anyone know what the problem is? I haven't changed any settings at all...

Uff I'm reassured (somehow..), my deluge was updated this night and suddenly i have the exact same error as you have, it was working flawlessly for the last 10 months for me (i'm not using PIA, but surfshark)

The latest update has caused this exact issue for me also. I found that if I switched the network to bridge it works again, but that causes other problems with my setup. Hopefully someone responds with a fix soon.

Just this morning, I woke up to:

My setup is with custom network.

Changed to Bridge, and everything is working.

Was trying a lot of stuff since 5AM this morning.. just works with VPN_disabled=no; Go back one page in this thread, binhex removed a time-frame at docker start which enabled DNS querries also over the host.

Adding Google and Cloudflare into the docker-env doesn't do anything, adding my pfsense to it (DNS Resolver) does nothing.

I'm here waiting that someone brighter than me comes up with a fix 🙂

Mine runs in it's own vlan, so this is not an option for me

Hi Everyone,

I am having a similar issue to the above. I am running a custom br network for my containers. Now my deluge container is not showing any container IPs or port mappings. I have restarted, redownloaded the image etc. and no luck. When i change the network type to bridge everything works likes normal. When I change it back, issue returns. This is causing issues accessing the webUI. Any suggestions? Been using this container for awhile now with no issues and this just started.

Thanks.

It looks like this happened after the most recent container update. Is there any solution to address this? I have my containers in their own vlan and i do not want to have tis container set to bridge.

Fix for now is to rollback to the previous version:

binhex/arch-delugevpn:2.1.1-6-03

Thanks.

So after rolling back a few versions, it seems like after this version:  2.1.1-6-01 - is when the port mapping and everything else starts to not work on custom network configurations in unraid beyond this version. I noticed you said you will be releasing a new version soon. Hopefully this version addresses the issue. Thanks for always being very responsive binhex!

Ok guys a new image has been produced, for anybody with the name resolution issue please do the following:-

  1. login to unraid web ui
  2. go to docker tab
  3. toggle switch top right to 'advanced view'
  4. click on 'force update' for the container
  5. check logs for errors.

Thank you so much @binhex for the quick fix. I have pulled the latest version and it is all working again. Also radarr and sonarr proxying through deluge as well.

All good after forced update.

Thanks for the quick response.

Wow Binhex, All good now with the update... Thanks for the quick fix.

you the best....

I did the forced upgrade. Not only is it working again, but this latest build also fixed access to the WebUI (OPNsense/VLAN). Great work! Thx

I'm running the latest container and receiving 12 looped errors stating:

Redacted Docker logs are attached.   Haven't made any major changes on my end in months.  Any ideas?
