[Support] binhex - DelugeVPN

Hey guys, am I the only one that can't get deluge to seed when using this?

Download works at maximum speed, but I can't get it to seed, which is no problem when running just deluge :/

Anyone got a fix for this issue? :)

I am having no issues with seeding with VPN enabled.  What VPN provider are you using?

I'm using PIA :)

First thing i would check is go into deluge ( with VPN active ) and in preferences -> network click on "Test Active Port" and make sure that is ok. Every once in a while I have to restart the docker to get it green instead of triangle warning

I can't get it to be green :S What vpn gateway do you connect to? :)

I do have the open vpn file with the settings pasted above. Or am I miss understanding?

OK this looks like your right, it night be ipv6 related, unraid doesn't support ipv6 and thus neither do any docker containers. One which question are you sure you have defined your lan network correctly? It's unusual to use the 172.x.x.x range for internal lan.

Has there been a change to this template recently? I can't seem to connect to it via deluge or the webui anymore

I'm seeing this error in my log:

2016-03-13 07:55:00,938 INFO success: webui entered RUNNING state, process has stayed up for > than 1 seconds (startsecs)

2016-03-13 07:55:02,246 DEBG received SIGCLD indicating a child quit

My year of PIA expired a few days back and I set up a new account (new user/pass). I've made sure that my user and pass are updated to the new one in the docker config page but I'm still getting the AUTH_FAILED message

A few lines above that in the log is:

2016-03-13 07:54:59,699 DEBG 'start' stdout output:
Sun Mar 13 07:54:59 2016 WARNING: this configuration may cache passwords in memory -- use the auth-nocache option to prevent this

Is it possible that delugevpn is still trying to use my old user/pass? How do I reset it without reinstalling?

A few posts back it was mentioned that setting VPN_REMOTE = nl.privateinternetaccess.com is ideal, but for the past year I've been using us-east.privateinternetaccess.com without a problem

What could be the issue?

Make sure your password doesn't contain special characters, try and use only a-z and 0-9

Can you try a popular torrent? A Linux ISO file or something?

Post some screenshot, it is easier to help you then for other people :)

I just tried Ubuntu 15.10 desktop 64-bit from ubuntu.com.. That should be a fast torrent I guess.

It's downloding at 300-500kbit right now.. and that is the only torrent running at the moment.

I'm running unRaid Beta right now.. and I also had to setup the deluge-vpn docker again, because after the update I could not manage to get it working.. had to delete it, and set it up again.

And my VPN provider is not PIA, it is vpntunnel (vpntunnel.se and .com works also)

I see now that I had the wrong port configured.. it was at standard.. and I think I need to use 443 as port (atleast that is the one mention in the ovpn file).

The speed went up a little, but still very unstable.. the speed can be 300kbit, one second later (when it does a refresh), it ca be 600kbit.. and the next second it might be down to 400.. so it just jumps up and down all the time.

My DSL line is 30/10 and the provider gives this information: Speed from 21-34 Mbit/s (download) and 3,4-12 Mbit/s (upload).

What do you want screenshots of, that can help me figure out this speed problem? :)

no this isnt right, you need to figure out what your incoming port is for your vpn connection, this might be dynamic or might be static, you will need to find out from your vpn provider what they offer, some vpn providers do not allow incoming ports, in which case you either need to switch vpn provider or use usenet instead, airvpn and pia both DO support incoming ports.

I just installed DelugeVPN yesterday and woke up this morning to many warnings that my Docker disk utilization was up to 91% (on 40GB allocated to the Docker image). I ran 'docker ps -s' and binhex/arch-delugevpn is using 31.6GB. :o My next largest container is only 617.7MB.

Any ideas what I did wrong and how I can fix this?

Map the download inside deluge to /data.

Set /data from the docker settings in unRAID to where you want to download your files.

It seems like 6.2.0-beta18 broke the delugevpn docker.

Broken for me too. Was working fine for months. Decided to update and it's not working. Tried rebooting the server and forcing a reinstall. Still nothing. I checked my settings, nothing has changed.

I get this in my logs:

2016-03-15 22:41:59,396 DEBG 'start' stdout output:

[crit] LAN network not defined, please specify via env variable LAN_NETWORK

2016-03-15 22:41:59,397 DEBG fd 14 closed, stopped monitoring <POutputDispatcher at 47037797600504 for <Subprocess at 47037797464400 with name start in state RUNNING> (stderr)>

2016-03-15 22:41:59,399 INFO exited: start (exit status 1; not expected)

2016-03-15 22:41:59,400 DEBG received SIGCLD indicating a child quit

Edit: just caught the change from LAN_RANGE to LAN_NETWORK. That did the trick. I'm up and running now.
