[Support] binhex - DelugeVPN

Recommended Posts

Let me open by saying thanks! I was going to build almost exactly this when I found it, and you saved me a bunch of work!

I'm trying to use a custom VPN provider (HMA if it matters), and am getting an error:

[crit] VPN provider remote gateway not defined (via -e VPN_REMOTE), exiting...

Q2 says this is undefined, or am I just misreading that answer? The tunnel address is defined in the ovpn file.

I had the same problem with a custom VPN. You need to populate the VPN_Remote field in the Docker settings with the gateway address, even though it is set to custom (You didn't need to do that before)...

I just stopped and started DelugeVPN and I am having the same issue. I am using PIA and I am not sure what VPN_REMOTE value I need to use... Sorry for the noob question.

Recently refreshed my delugevpn & sabnzbvpn containers due to 6.2 update.

I can't connect to the admin interface from my LAN.  Logs seem to indicate everything is running ok, but I can't get into the interfaces to confirm any activity.  I have my LAN_NETWORK set as 192.168.10.0/24

I see this:

[warn] iptable_mangle module not supported, you will not be able to connect to Deluge webui or Privoxy outside of your LAN

But a) I'm trying to connect from inside my LAN (although not the bridged 172.16.x.x) and b) I thought that didn't matter with the change to LAN_NETWORK from LAN_RANGE.

Any tips?

There is no v1 present.

supervisord.log, starting with a new restart with empty log.

As I read through this to verify no personal info, I noticed that it references eth0.  I currently have eth0 & eth1 in an active/passive bond.  ifconfig seems to indicate that eth1 is the active interface, based on the TX/RX bytes. Maybe that's a factor?  I don't know iptables commands to see if I can tweak it to work.

From inside the container, eth0 doesn't bind to a specific physical eth0, right?

Updated delugevpn and now I'm getting this error:

[crit] VPN provider remote gateway not defined (via -e VPN_REMOTE), exiting...

I'm using AirVPN. Didn't have to specify this before. Tried setting VPN_REMOTE to the remote host in the ovpn file, but then it asked for VPN_PORT. Tried setting that and then it asked for VPN_PROTOCOL so I gave up.

I seem to be having an issue accessing the gui from my lan network. I dont see it being added to the iptables, but maybe I shouldn't?

My LAN is: 10.0.0.0/24 and I have added that to the config.

Here is the log for that portion.

I just updated to 6.2.0-rc4 and it seems my issues have returned.  Cant connect via vpn or without this time around.  I have even tried redoing the entire install fresh, backing up the old config folder.  Needs some help (side note sab seems to have stopped working with the vpn but works without)  I turned on debugging in the hopes it would show more but Im not seeing anything.

This looks like a successful start to me, so your attempting to connect to the webui inside your lan yes not over the internet right?

I just updated to 6.2.0-rc4 and it seems my issues have returned.  Cant connect via vpn or without this time around.  I have even tried redoing the entire install fresh, backing up the old config folder.  Needs some help (side note sab seems to have stopped working with the vpn but works without)  I turned on debugging in the hopes it would show more but Im not seeing anything.

This looks like a successful start to me, so your attempting to connect to the webui inside your lan yes not over the internet right?

Well in not sure what to suggest as it all looks OK according to the logs, try another browser Incas it's a cookies issue and double check the IP and port your using, esp if you have reconfigured the container.

@binhex, there's been a lot of these 'cannot connect from LAN' posts lately.. I wonder if a change in unRAID caused this...

TO ALL USERS WHO CANNOT CONNECT FROM INTERNAL LAN, what version of unRAID are you running?

I really hope your wrong but unfortunately there is no way I can test as I don't have a test rig to test out the latest rc
