np :) One thing I missed when reading the log last time:

As stated in the log, if you have special characters in your password this can cause authentication issues.

Help.  I'm unable to HTTP to Deluge after installation.  I keep getting this message -

Options error: Unrecognized option or missing or extra parameter(s) in [CMD-LINE]:1: auth-user-pass (2.4.1)

I have attached the following files for review: (removed user/pass)

-deluge log file
-supervisord.log

-configuration images showing my config of docker

I'm unsure of what I'm missing.  When I turn off VPN the docker works great.

Thanks

Couple things here. First change VPN_PROV to custom, second remove what you have in VPN_OPTIONS and leave it blank. I haven't tried vyprvpn for a long time so I don't remember if they support port forwarding. But if they don't you might want to change provider as you won't really be able to torrent as torrenting require an open incoming port. If they do support port forwarding you need to use whatever endpoints that support it, I doubt the one you have chosen does.

Untitled.png.069e3576e255c5a7dab9ced37aaf4221.pngThanks Strike.  I made the first 2 changes, I'm unsure of which option to change the port on deluge configuration.  However now I'm getting the following in the log:

Sun Sep 3 22:51:32 2017 WARNING: file 'credentials.conf' is group or others accessible

However permissions look correct:

Just ignore that warning. Are you able to get to the webui now after making those changes?
If not please enable debug logging by changing the DEBUG variable to true. Delete the /config/supervisord.log, start the container and let it run for a few min and post the entire log here. Remove username/pw of course.

As for the incoming port you need to check if your provider supports it and do whatever you have to do to open a port. Then add that port in the deluge webui settings not the docker settings. Do not open any ports on your router.

Do you also need a new copy of the Supervisord.log file?

Here is the deluge.log file:

ok thanks for all your assistance, have a great evening

a quick google search for vypervpn and it looks like their endpoint has changed, not sure where you got that ovpn config file from, but according to the link below the endpoint name should now be:-

XXX.vpn.goldenfrog.com

https://support.goldenfrog.com/hc/en-us/articles/203733723-What-are-the-VyprVPN-server-addresses-

so edit the ovpn file and change the line:-

remote us7.vyprvpn.com 443

to

remote us7.vpn.goldenfrog.com 443

then save the file and restart the container.

for reference I got the OVPN files here - https://support.goldenfrog.com/hc/en-us/articles/225607167-Where-can-I-find-the-OpenVPN-files-

after the recommended changes it is still no go.  Any other ideas or does it look like it is a non-starter with vyprvpn?

lol, ok so no idea which is the correct remote endpoint now, but lets go with the tweak i suggested for now, please do the following and we can see whats going on now:-

Here is the new log as requested

supervisord.log

ahh ok i see so us1.vpn.goldenfrog.com is a cname for us1.vyprvpn.com, right in that case it was probably ok as it was, so looks like it should be us1.vypervpn.com, please revert the change below:-

then follow the procedure again to repost a fresh log, it is of course possible they are in some sort of nasty transition here from vypervpn to goldenfrog and things arent quite working yet :-) in which case you got two options, wait and hope or change to a better provider (airvpn or pia)

Do you see anything in the latest log that was uploaded or am I outta luck when using VyperVPN

i would say vypervpn has bigger issues with openvpn configuration and/or general connectivity problems by the look of it, i would stear clear for now and go for a better vpn provider.

Hello new user to the Deluge VPN docker but I have to say I am extremely impressed. One small issue that I'm hoping is a simple fix though. I am running 1.3.15 docker version, using PIA vpn and the netherlands ovpn file and cert. it appears that the fastest speed I am able to obtain is around 1 MB/s  or about 8 Mb/s but doing the PIA speedtest from a win10 vm running on unraid shows a consistent speed to the netherlands server of around 100 mb/s. I'm looking in the docker logs and I noticed this line:

2017-09-08 18:53:59.496776 [warn] VPN_INCOMING_PORT not defined (via -e VPN_INCOMING_PORT), downloads may be slow

Could this be the issue?
