[Support] binhex - DelugeVPN

My deluge client no longer downloads 95% of the time. It just says "timed out" all of the time now when added from Sonarr or Radarr. If I manually load a magnet link it might work 10% of the time.

I switched to wireguard and turned off strict port forwarding and it's been working great. Good or maybe even better speeds than when I was using Ovpn with the strict port forwarding (when it worked), probably due to wireguard being more lightweight and I can choose a server that's closer.

Don't know if this should be here or in the wireguard thread, but I was wondering if anyone knew how to route an incoming connection from wireguard (like if I'm remoting in from my laptop) through privoxy in deluge. I can't seem to find anyone else who's wanting to do this lol.

When I was using openvpn to connect to my local network I could just turn on a proxy and boom I'm running through PIA, can't seem to figure out how to do that (or if it's possible) with wireguard.

Hi everyone, this container has been amazing so far but I do have some weird issue that I can't seem to find any answers for.  For some reason, the number of streams to the share that I'm seeding torrents from gets stuck at 499 (I believe every time but I can't be 100%  sure).  Is this common?  The only thing I changed was by installing the ltconfig plugin and enabling high performance seed settings.

It seems like stale connections aren't being cleaned up?  I did go through the config settings but can't really tell which one would be directly correlated to this.  My upload speeds seems to crawl when this happens but when the number of streams are on the lighter side, my upload speeds could shoot up.

Any insight would be super helpful.  Thank you!

Overnight I got issues with accessing the WebUI. Last night I had no problems, but today it refuses to work. I tried restarting the docker, rebooting Unraid, rebooting my router, updating the VPN server list and disabling the VPN option. Nothing works. I also tried to access the Webui from different PCs.

The log stops at: "Waiting for Deluge process to start listening on port 58846..."

I think the only thing I did yesterday was add the 'labels' plugin. I don't think It has anything to do with this or how to disable it outside of the WebUI.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? I couldn't find any working solutions in this thread. Maybe I've overlooked somthing. 😔

Trying to add via magnet links from certain trackers is giving me this error (which doesn't seem very helpful).  The same magnetlink works fine in the rtorrentvpn docker on the same machine.  The delugevpn docker also works on some other trackers.  Not sure what more information to get or how to get more thorough logs to see what's going wrong.

Edit:  Also, if I add via magnet link to rtorrent and then use that torrent file (or just directly download the torrent file to my computer) I can add the torrent fine through the torrent file.  So it seems like something with resolving the magnet link?

I have the same question. I now want to create one and this docker doesn't have the normal feature to create new torrents like I used to see back with qbitorrent or uTorrent. Thanks!

Are you folks creating torrents by having a second torrenting program installed?

Does anyone have any idea why Deluge wont start for me with my VPN?

I've tried different VPN destinations,

I've tried with OPEN VPN and now with Wireguard,  the GUI wont start.

it will only work with the VPN turned off.

I'm using PIA which seems to be very swell supported... the account is valid, I can log into it manually on my desktop.

These are my settings:

It’s a dns failure. I can’t say why though. Do you have pihole or similar that might be blocking dns queries?

no I don't.

I have a Ubiquiti DreamMachine Pro... perhaps it's the intrusion detection settings?

Hi guys,

I upgraded my old server to a new more powerful system. I can launch the GUI no problem and I can see the torrents going in, however I do not show anything for the downstream at all so in other words they are not downloaded, they just remain at 0% complete. I basically copied the same configuration from my old server to this new one, and configured the app in the same manner, I am pretty sure I am missing something and this is driving me nuts.

Thank you for your assistance.

Below is a copy of my supervisord.log file.

Hi there. Sorry if this has been answered a million times, I can't find anything helpful.I am unable to manually add a torrent file to Deluge.

I browse to the torrent file, but I can't click Add, nothing happens. The Deluge windows also doesn't list what files would be downloaded.

I'm having the same problem as this person:

https://github.com/binhex/arch-delugevpn/issues/152

I know nothing about iframes or whatever he's talking about. I've tried Chrome, Safari, Firefox.

Thanks for any ideas. Downloads from radarr and sonarr work perfectly.

You need to edit your .ovpn file.

https://github.com/binhex/documentation/blob/master/docker/faq/vpn.md

Scroll down to Q20.

If you only want to use one endpoint you could also just replace your ovpn file with the correct one for that endpoint.

In my docker folder DelugeVPN/openvpn i have many *ovpn file. In my case the armenia.ovpn have recent modified date and time.  I have only credential.conf with this *.ovpn.

Thanks for your help.

You should only place one ovpn file in this folder, the file that corresponds to the server you wish to use. If you want, you can place the other files in a subfolder (see screenshot) for possible future need.
