I see the "-v '/data':'/data':'rw'"

This mapping will have created a /data directory in RAM, since /data (the HOST side of this mapping) isn't a path on actual Unraid storage, and so it gets created in the root of the OS folders, which is in RAM. You will have to reboot to get rid of that folder. If you didn't download anything to it then it probably isn't important for now, but if you did then it could be taking up a lot of memory.

You might take a look at some of the rest of the Docker FAQ. Until you understand volume mapping you will always be wondering what to do and why it doesn't work.

So now I totally get it and once that happens it’s easy :)

binhex, thanks for this docker.  I’ve been fighting trying to get DD-WRT, PIA, and ports open for two years on and off.  Got it all done in less than a day with your docker.  I love the way you pull the PIA open ports automatically.

Fantastic,

Since a while back I cant access my torrents through my webgui.

I get to enter my password, and everything seems right but the torrentlist never loads.

I can see the sessionspeed in the titlebar and I can access the preferenses so I know it actually connects.

If I connect through the deluge app i can access it just fine.

I tried emptying cache, different browsers and different computers, restarting the container wont help but sometimes I can connect for a while if I restart the whole server.

Hi,

Not sure if this is the exact correct place for this question. I have delugevpn set up an working fine. However  i have recently invested in a new router that has a greater funcionality over the one from the ISP. This one allows me to set a vpn at the router level, I just wanted to know those this have any effect on the delugevpn.

Does AceVPN thats pre configured also open ports as well?

I have a familiar problem of webui stopped working.  I have been using it for more than a year before this happened.  I have removed the docker image and deleted the deluge vpn folder on unraid the reinstalled and still no dice.  I have confirmed it works with out vpn enabled and it works. I have tried many different endpoints and with strict port forward disabled with no luck.

Log attached.

It depends how you setup the VPN on the router.  You probably have an option for excluding or including specific IP addresses.  Like with “policy based routing” any IP you put in will go through the router VPN and all others will not.

I started having DNS issues a few weeks ago as shown in the log! I already re-created the container but didn't solve!

Any ideas?

Been trying to use DelugeVPN for the first time on my Unraid box but I'm running into issues. Upon first trying to load the container I kept getting the error:

Options error: --status fails with '/tmp/openvpn/openvpn-status.log': No such file or directory (errno=2)
Options error: Please correct these errors.

I resolved this by jumping in via terminal and manually creating the above log file. Now it appears like the launch sequence completes successfully but I can't seem to access the web UI. Here's my supervisor log for the launch after creating the openvpn-status.log file.

To confirm I'm trying to load the admin UI (10.1.1.142:8112) from a computer within the network (10.1.1.14) and I'm getting a connection refused error.

So I have two Unraid servers both running DelugeVPN and both with the same issue.  as I mentioned before:

I have a familiar problem of webui stopped working.  I have been using it for more than a year before this happened.  I have removed the docker image and deleted the deluge vpn folder on unraid the reinstalled and still no dice.  I have confirmed it works with out vpn enabled and it works. I have tried many different endpoints and with strict port forward disabled with no luck.

Log attached.

The WebUI is not loading, the difference here is I haven't upgraded unraid and I am still running 6.4

Binhex, did you change the default /data mount to /media ?

I only just noticed this as all my downloads started failing!

DelugeVPN keeps removing my plugin "simply extractor" and reverting back to "extractor"

Binflex we're you able to look at this?

I don't use this docker and haven't use the application either.

How is this plugin installed? Typically the only things that persist in a docker is things in appdata since container updates are basically a reinstall.

I had appdata set to cache yes, I switched that to Only. Hope that this helps. Thought something between the drives once getting now transfered right or something

If I need to provide more information, please let me know.  I have been trying to determine what changed for over a week and I'm unable to figure it out.  From my point of view, nothing has changed.

This doesn't really tell me how you install a deluge plugin. As I said, I don't use it.

Also, you should set appdata to cache-prefer not cache-only. See here for more details on how the cache settings work and ask if you need more explanation:

I switched to cache-prefer since I see its better than cache-only.

Here is image of my setup.

I went ahead and updated unraid to 6.6.5 which purged all my docker containers and their respective folders in appdata.  So I added binhex-delugevpn again and tried all vpn points listed here: https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/helpdesk/kb/articles/how-do-i-enable-port-forwarding-on-my-vpn

and none of them allowed me to enter the webui.

Did you enter the PIA configs?
