[Support] binhex - DelugeVPN

I'm having an issue with the WebUI, it simply will not load unless VPN is disabled. I've tried deleting the core.conf and letting it rebuild and that didn't help. attached is my supervisord log. maybe someone can give me direction?

looks like a succesful start to me, you sure about your LAN_NETWORK setting?, from your log:-

2019-10-30 10:28:58.598870 [info] LAN_NETWORK defined as '192.168.61.0/24'

is the machine you are trying to connect to the webui on the same network?, as in 192.168.61.xxx?

see Q4 from the following link if you are unsure:-

https://github.com/binhex/documentation/blob/master/docker/faq/vpn.md

ok now i feel stupid, i forgot i had created a second SSID on a different vlan. thanks. It is working if i'm on the correct subnet.

if you want to be able to access the webui from multiple vlans then this is possible, you simply comma seperate the networks for the value of LAN_NETWORK, e.g.:-

LAN_NETWORK=192.168.1.0/24,192.168.10.0/24

Hi everyone, I need help with my Deluge Docker.

I dont know what happen. we had a power outage for 48h. Clean shut down of unraid with the ups. When everything started I had issue with Deluge, the docker was starting because I was still able to download everything when I was adding the torrent file to the torrent folder...

But I cant access the WebUI its saying:

This site can’t be reached

192.168.100.37 refused to connect.

I tried to remove and reinstall the docker. Still same issue.

Im not using any VPN service for now.

The computer that im using to access it is on the same network. 192.168.100.108

What am I missing?

Here is the log

Your LAN_NETWORK is set to 192.168.1.0/24 yet you're trying to access 192.168.100.*.  Change your LAN_NETWORK to 192.168.100.0/24.

I tried with the new adress 192.168.100.0/24 and its still giving me the same error.

Updated to Version: 6.8.0-rc5 this morning, and now all of the sudden when I try to download a torrent it starts, then gives me an Error notice. Anything I should be looking for here? Re-copied the open-vpn files back in. Was working fine prior to updating.

EDIT: So removed the docker, started again and after a few tries looks like it's going now. Well I spoke too soon, looks like I had it going with the VPN disabled. If I enable it, I can't get it to connect. If I disable it, it loads. Anything I should try that I'm missing?

Okay, deleted the supervisord.log in my /config folder but didn't see it "finish installing" as described there. I restarted the docker and that didn't seem to do anything, and don't see the new supervisord.log file in the /config folder. What should I try next? Did enable debugging in the docker if that helps now.

EDIT: Just tried another docker, seemed to get that going *knocks on wood*. Anyone know what that Error I was getting when this issue first came up?

I am also unable to start the webui. I shutdown my server to move my Cache disk and blow out the server. Started it back up and all dockers and everything are functioning but the deluge webui. I have removed and reinstalled. No dice. If I turn off VPN it works fine. Turn VPN back on and it is dead.

Please check your login credentials and make sure they only contain a-z, A-Z, 0-9 characters. Also make sure your subscription is active and have not expired.

So get this. I share it with my cousin. He literally just changed the password an hour ago because he couldn't remember it. lmao. Thanks

lol, well glad you got it sorted :)

Its ironic that it literally worked before I shut it down. Because I completed a download and removed everything then shut it down. So he changed the password in the 45 or so minutes I had the server down.

I've been getting slow download speeds on version 2.0.3 and trying to fix for the past few days without luck.  I get no more than 3MiB/s down with nordvpn on and 8Mib/s with it off.  I use to use the same vpn provider and get speed of 50Mib/s.

I've attached my core.conf and supervisord.log, thanks in advance for the help.

Have you checked Q6 here: https://github.com/binhex/documentation/blob/master/docker/faq/vpn.md

I've been searching through posts all day on here and I cant find anything that seems to work. DelugeVPN is working fine and its using my VPN. The other dockers are also working fine by themselves. What I cant get working is getting other dockers to use its privoxy such as Sonarr, Radarr, Jackett, and Hydra2. After I set these dockers to use the privoxy, I've tried "curl https://ipinfo.io/ip" in the consoles for those dockers, and its still displaying my physical IP and not the VPN IP. Using "curl https://ipinfo.io/ip" in the console for Deluge displays the VPN IP, just not the other dockers.

My unraid box's local IP is 192.168.1.134, so Ive set the proxy setting in all of those other dockers to 192.168.1.134:8118. Ive even tried to use the corresponding local host IP of 172.17.0.3:8118 with the same results. There are no errors in any logs. In the unraid terminal, I am able to connect to 8118 using telnet.

You can't set those docker containers to use a proxy, so I guess what you have done is setting the application within the container to use the proxy.

The curl commands show you the containers networking not using the proxy, which is expected.

Except for the deluge container itself, where the whole container is using the VPN tunnel (not via a proxy).

I don't know how you can test if Sonarr etc. is actually using the proxy correctly, your best bet might be to look at the application logs to see if something useful is logged?

For what it's worth, I am using the deluge proxy for both Sonarr and Radarr, but I haven't actually checked if the traffic goes via the VPN tunnel or not. But I can't see any reason why they wouldn't.
