If I were to upgrade any components in my server, would it help speed up the unpack process?

~3.5GB download

90 .rar files

~3 minute unpack

MSI P67A-GD65

i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz

16GB DD3

they say the use of RAM for temp files for sabnzb should speed up the unpacking process. but i have not figured out the setup for that yet my self.

Just reposting a request for help I put on the unRAID subreddit; haven't gotten much so I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out and I don't have a $700 paperweight.

===

I know this has been discussed 1000 times already. I've googled, read at least a half-dozen guides and how-to's, watched SpaceInvaderOne's video, and done everything I can think of to fix this. Nothing has worked. I'm sure I'm just overlooking something but can't figure out what it is. I've tried this one, this one, this one, as well as this and this. I'm at an absolute loss as to what the problem is.

I've got the binhex sabnzbd container working so it can access the VPN via the NordVPN container. But I cannot get the sabnzbd web ui to come up. Here's the NordVPN and sabnzbd container configurations. I've been banging my head on this for 4 days now and gotten nowhere.

===

I've attached my NordVPN and Sabnzbd container settings.  I do have the LAN Net set to my local LAN /24 (it's not shown in the image).  I cannot access the Sabnzbd UI via the IP/Port at all.  And the guides I've followed are from all over the place, but so far nothing has worked.  I'm stumped, flummoxed, whatever you want to call it.

Well you are not using the binhex version of sabnzb as far as i can see. Tried the

binhex-sabnzbdvpn docker?

@binhex  I'm still seeing these errors.  Any ideas?  Even though I get the errors, everything seems to still be working.

Quick question: I have a specific category setup and I'm only interested in one file for this category. Is there an easy way to have sab only extract that file and not create a directory in the destination directory?

Answering my own question:

https://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?t=9388

Add an asterisk at the end of path in a category should prevent a folder creation

cant access web ui worked fine for months. noticed i hadnt had new downloads for a few days and started checking.    verified the config file has the host as 0.0.0.0 tried changing the port. and verified allowed local ranges.   i have removed the docker container and folder from appdata and started fresh and still get these errors in the docker container logs.

Got the exact same error and having the same issues. I'm on Unraid 6.9.1. and have the latest docker container.

EDIT: I rolled back to version 3.6.1-1-03 and it is working again.

i have just pulled down the latest image with a blank config and it fired straight up, no issues, i also do not see any sign of traceback in the logs, so unless somebody can tell me how to replicate the issue then its going to be a tough one to fix!.

it might be worth posting your issue on the sabnzbd github repo:- https://github.com/sabnzbd/sabnzbd/issues

The Problem

Hello everyone! After a recent update, I haven't been able to access binhex docker web servers along with a non-binhex grafana container. The binhex dockers are running, but the Grafana docker is not. All of them are throwing fatal errors related to not being able to write to their config directories (see error messages below). All my other dockers are fine, so I think it has to be a binhex/grafana problem. Please help!

Things I've Tried:

Turning docker service on/off

Rebooting the individual dockers

Forcing individual dockers to update

Running dockers in privileged mode

Errors

Binhex-SABNZBD Error:

Fatal error:

Binhex-Sonarr Error:

Binhex-Radarr Error:

Hello All, Sabnzbd webgui won't open. Radarr says it can't connect to client. Here is a part of the sab logs. Seems http server not running. Any ideas how to fix?

The error first occurred November 12.

I just upgraded to the latest and I'm getting similar errors to some of the above folks.  Anyone find a solution?

I manually added a download through radarr and it 'appears' to function as expected.  Of course we'd like to not see errors all the time though.  ;-)

looks related to use of self signed certs, there is a open issue for what looks to be a good match with the error you are seeing, feel free to comment in the issue thread:- https://github.com/cherrypy/cheroot/issues/346 (cherrypy is used by sabnzbd)

Seeing the same error in logs today after an auto-update to sabnzbd overnight. Should I roll back the version?

First time getting this error. Please advise. Thanks.
