January 22, 201610 yr This might be a dumb question, but I've looked a lot and didn't find anything that answered it for me, so here goes: Is there a docker I can set up that will let me run an HDMI cable from the back of my unraid box to my tv to have Kodi (or some other media center) play movies/tv stored on the unraid array on the tv? All of the Kodi dockers I've seen are headless, which as far as I know, means it won't actually play anything. My goal is to avoid needing the dedicated HTPC I have sitting under the tv currently. My hardware is in my signature, the cpu supports vt-x, but not vt-d. I don't currently have a gfx card installed, but if needed I could get a basic one, if the on-board HDMI wouldn't do the trick. Thanks in advance.

You most probably have one now and that one is needed for the unraid console..
January 22, 201610 yr You're out of luck I'm afraid, without vt-d compatible hardware you can't do what you're after.
January 22, 201610 yr Author Well that sucks. I guess I'll keep the old Asrock 330 in service a bit longer. I know the chip can't do vt-d, is the mobo an issue also or would it be as easy as replacing the chip? Thanks.
