All of his updates run on auto scheduler. So as soon as it is available for his scripts, it will automaticly update. No need to ask for it :)

Hi @binhex my binhex/plexpass been bugging me for the latest beta update for over 24hours (Version 1.18.0.1906), your automation usually has it compiled and pushed by now whats happening?

actually in this instance there was a reason why the update didn't trigger in the usual period of time, and that is simply that the server that does the triggering is my home server (yes im tight and dont wanna pay for a VPS :-) ) and that server was for all of yesterday in bits, literally!. reason being a massive hardware upgrade, which i am now happy to say is complete, and as soon as i brought the server online i saw the trigger for plex pass, so all good in the world again :-).

Some day I will update my current fans, I have a ton of supermicro stock PWM fans and the noise is real!

I hope you enjoy the new rig, honestly, the last few upgrades I have done the best part has just been knowing my gitlab server is not running on hardware I feel might be unstable/fail any time.  I guess peace of mind has become more important to me than raw performance.🤗

Anyone having issues with their plex libraries?  For some reason it started tonight where all my libraries cant be accessed.  I show all the unplayed shows in the main user but any managed user it shows that the server is not reachable.  I know it is because i can login with the main user and see the libraries but not play any content.  I have restarted the entire unraid server and also have downgraded my version to  1.17.0.1709 as I noticed others complaining about this same issues.  That did not fix the issue for me at all.  Can someone please help.image.thumb.png.ab0ee2b7d236aa41cfec755c9a4ee3d9.png

HI @binhex sorry to be a pest but an important update that fixes a Live TV issue (I only have Over the Air for my local news for my mother in law and our family) it has been glitching the last few updates to Plex and i thought it was my HD Homerun or ATSC antenna but the issue is only happening with Plex not with the HD Homerun App.

hoping the latest update can be pushed to your container in the next day or so

cheers

check your setting to see if remote access is working. but for local issue this could be the SQ lite DB corruption the unraid team is looking into

per chance are you dockers installed on the array or a cache drive/pool?

you may have that sqlite DB corruption everyone is talking about what does your plex docker logs show? (click on dockers then click the log on the far right in line with Plex)

New guy here. I've been browsing thru this thread, among others, and I'm not certain I see an answer. I just updated the OS to 6.7.2 from 6.6.7 and I've lost access to the Plexpass (binhex-plexpass). The docker will not start, auto or manually. All had been working great until this evening with both the server and Plex. The OS update went smoothly and I rebooted after it was finished. I still have full access to documents and other files on the server, just have no Plex. Any suggestions or links I can check out? Thanks!

So does anyone know how to fix this error?  Not sure if its related to my plex problem but its really annoying that I cant use my plex server now for over a week.

lets rule out database corruption firstly, can you attach the file '/config/Plex Media Server/Logs/Plex Media Server.log'

I ran through the database with a check and found nothing.  I got tired of waiting and just blew away the docker and started fresh.  Just hope this is not going to happen every few weeks because its sucks starting over.

ok, i would of liked to of checked that log but hey you are up and running, are you running unraid 6.7.2 and do you have plex metadata located on your array?, if so you are likely to of had the database corruption issue, which most likely will bite you again.

Yes I am on 6.7.2 and it is on the array.  Where else would i put it ?

cache drive is the norm, i fear you may well have the same issue again :-(, if you want to prevent this then your options are:-

1. roll back to unraid 6.6.7

or

2. buy a cache drive and move plex metadata from array to cache

or

3. wait and hope limetech fix the issue in 6.8.0 (still in release candidate stage).

just to be clear this is not a plex issue or a issue regards this image, its a SHFS/FUSE problem with unraid and sqlite databases (affects more than just plex).

Gotcha...im going to have to wait and hope because I am maxed out right now with 6 drives no room to add a cache disk.

You do have one other option if you have the disk space, you can use unbalance to move files off of one of the disks in your array, and then remove one of the 6 drives from the array. You can then use the unassigned devices plugin to mount one of your drives next to your unraid array, and you can run appdata off of that disk.
This is what I currently do in unraid, my docker images are not part of my parity drive...but a nightly backup copies appdata to my unraid array.

Yes that is a fourth option, although quite a bit of effort when compared to a simple downgrade to unraid 6.6.7

Will a downgrade work if 6.7.2 was a fresh install for me?
