Curious if anyone is running into the same issue  -

In the docker page the version is displaying a broken chain and saying not available.  I just wanted to let somebody know since I didn't see a post on it.  Just happened overnight.

Checking for updates usually corrects this on my system.

Had this a couple of times recently, too - but, as @wgstarks said, checking for updates usually sorts it out. Not sure what causes it

Just my guess---A routine check for updates failed to connect so it goes away once the next successful check occurs.

Hey Legends. I've been consistently having an issue with updating all of my dockers - Sonarr included.

I get a notification that the docker has an update.

I hit the 'update' button and the black/white scripting window pops up.

It downloads/pulls everything, then indicates that it is removing the container.

It never gets past that (just sits there with the blinking dots), and I need to re-install the docker and restore my backup appdata.

Does anyone else get this?

Why would appdata need to be restored? It isn't affected by removing or updating or installing a container. Seems to be some missing information.

Dunno @Constructor. But when i re-install it, none of my data is there.

Maybe I have my appdata in the wrong place?

I have 3 mappings:

/data <> /mnt/user/appdata/data

/media <> /mnt/user/Media

/config <> /mnt/user/appdata/binhex-sonarr

Something is definitely wrong, because EVERY time I try to update the docker - it has trouble removing it and doesn't get any further than that attempt.

Has anyone had it where the place where you are grabbing NZB's from says you are grabbing a bunch of files but you haven't grabbed anything in your folders or anything in your sab?

I can't find the words to explain an issue I'm having, but has anyone run into a similar scenario:

  • QBittorrent downloads FavShow E01S01.mp4 into \FavShow.E01S01.WAZZAAAH\FavShow E01S01.mp4 (notice that there are periods in the folder name)
  • Sonarr can't import saying the following:
    • "Import failed, path does not exist or is not accessible by Sonarr:[Snip] /FavShow E01S01 WAZZAAAH"  (notice how the periods are replaced with spaces in the folder name)

I've looked at both dockers and can't figure out what is causing the confusion between the two or whether it's a setting. Both dockers have been working for months until just this last week.

Thanks for any help.

I couldn't figure out why, but this appears to be exactly what is happening to me as well.

Looks like it's QBittorrent's fault:

This was caused by the Sonarr (and Radarr) devs making an assumption that the folder name would always match the torrent name and not checking the actual file path after the download is complete. There is a fix as you posted. It has been reported that downgrading qbittorrent to versions <4.2.5 will work around this issue. That will only work for users that aren’t using PIA though, since it will probably remove compatibility with the PIA next-gen servers ( @binhex could possibly confirm that?).

Edit: Actually I think that should be versions <4.3.

How does one go about rolling back to 4.2.5?  I'm on 4.3 and having issues with importing downloaded shows properly but can't figure out how to roll back to a previous version.

Add a tag after the repo name in the repository field of the container settings for the qbittorrent docker. The format is <repo name>:<tag>. You can get a list of tags from the GitHub page linked in the first post of the qbittorrent docker support thread.

Add a tag after the repo name in the repository field of the container settings for the qbittorrent docker. The format is <repo name>:<tag>. You can get a list of tags from the GitHub page linked in the first post of the qbittorrent docker support thread.

Thank you!  I see there was an update to qbittorrent last night.  I'm going to try that and if that doesn't work I'll roll back to 4.2.5.

Is anyone else having an issue with the container not letting their drives spin down anymore all of a sudden?  Sometime between now and the last update I noticed that my drives were no longer spinning down.  After spending the better part of this weekend trying to track it down I've discovered that it is this container.  If I spin my drives down manually, after about 35 to 50 seconds the container will make a write to the array in a specific order and size every time..  A few seconds later the remaining drives will spin up and it will make another write.  If I spin them down again the exact same thing happens..  This is a fairly new issue as I have always in the past been able to spin the array down without issue..  Did something change?  Anyone else seeing the same behavior?

I am reading many good things about V3 sonarr specifically around audio control's - like preference for atmos etc now I have atmos sound.

I use all binhex stuff, as per spaceinvaders video's from ages back.  Been rock solid.

How do I go about getting the v3 sonarr docker in place of this ?

Will there be a binhex preview branch sometime (for v3)

- Never mind - Figured it out, all upgraded fine.

I just got into dockers on my unraid and trying to setup Sonarr/Radarr/Jackett/qBit/Sab. I've run these on my Mac for years and it feels backwards downgrading to Sonarr v.2 with docker. How did you go about to change it? I like how the binhex dockers are working with the same mappings.

It was really easy.  I took a backup of the container just in case.  Then after it was stopped, changed the repository to 'linuxserver/sonarr:preview' and started it up.  It all works perfectly, no issues at all - love the new interface.  no need to change any ports/mappings whatever - it just worked.  It may look a little strange as the container name and the folders etc under appdata are still binhex's name etc.

I then used the same process to change the binhex-jackett, i.e the repo to 'linuxserver/jackett:latest' as that was hardly being updated as binhex's.

Thank you! Tried downloading linuxservers Sonarr docker with :preview and that work ok. But I'll try your solution and use it with Binhex dockers to keep them unanimous. Is it on Github you find if you should add :preview or :latest in the repository?

I believe preview is for V3, latest is still V2
