[Support] Linuxserver.io - NZBHydra

Recommended Posts

Anyone having any problems with NZBHydra, Sonarr and NZBGet ?  Sonarr stopped working recently after updating NZBHydra, I noticed in the official NZBHydra release notes that Sonarr support was broken but then later fixed.  Still not working for me.

NZBHydra works fine on it's own, but when I point Sonarr to NZBHydra as an indexer, I get the following errors.

NzbDrone.Core.Download.Clients.DownloadClientException: Failed to add nzb REMOVED 1080i HDTV DD2.0 MPEG2-TrollHD.nzb

Works fine if I use one of my indexers directly in Sonarr, and use that instead of NZBHydra, NZBGet does it thing without any issues.  That has been my workaround.

I am having the exact same issue... Tested with both sab and nzbget...nzbs from Hydra do not work when sonarr pushes to either downloader.... If i remove Hydra from the mix and use the individual indexers it works again.... They both error out and say the nzbs are empty...

I posted on hydras GitHub issues thread, but no resolution yet....

I had this myself, i exec'ed into the container with

docker exec -it hydra bash

and did

rm /config/hydra/nzbhydra.log.1

, restarted the container and tried the update again

Noticed something after setting up reverse proxy for hydra (which is working):

URL base: /hydra/

External URL: https://my.domain/hydra/

From unRAID dashboard, clicking on Hydra icon and selecting WebUI, it takes me to http://unraid.ip:5075/ which is a blank page.

It works when I change the url to http://unraid.ip:5075//hydra . I noticed this with rutorrent docker too.

This doesn't happen with CouchPotato, EmbyServer, SABNzbd, nor Sonarr: Their http://unraid.ip:port/ takes me to the right URL in the browser.

Yeah, nothing we can do about that.  Just the way the apps are written.

You can edit the docker template and change the webui address so it will work from the Unraid gui

I thought it might be a quirk but thought I'd raise it since it's happening across two dockers. Thanks for clarifying!

Hydra seems to be working fine but when I look at its log I'm seeing this error. I can't figure out what it's referring to, can someone advise?

There's a theory for why it's happening and seems to be true for my case.

Do you happen to run nzbhydra as a service and have it set to restart on a failure? Since I started using a service file to start Hydra at system boot, this happens when I update Hydra and it restarts itself. My machine sees it as a failure since it wasn't stopped using systemctl, such as systemctl stop nzbhydra.service. So Hydra ends up being restarted by Hydra's update process and systemctl causing this error and a shutdown. I end up having to start Hydra again manually after each update. Here's a log to what I am referring to:

logfile.txt

Maybe NZBHydra can try to check if the system commands stop/restart are available, then do what it does now if it can't be stopped that way?

The error appears when restarting from within Hydra or when it restarts itself after an update. I didn't see the error when I restarted the docker from unRAID's UI.

That's your problem right there.  It can't hit github to clone the repo.

I've just pulled it to test, working fine here.  Seen problems in the past with DNS and git cloning and remember one guy who couldn't clone from github because he'd changed the MTU on the suggestion of the tips and tweaks plugin.  Things to look at.

Thanks for the reply...

No luck still though.  I have not changed anything on the server.  I tried deleting the container and re pulling it, but still errors at the same spot.  Stopper the docker and VM services and changed my DNS server from my router to Google's 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4.  still errors...

I SSH into my server and can successfully ping GitHub.com too...

Any other ideas or tests I can run?

Edit:. Fixed after I rebooted the server....Not sure what happened though..

Thanks!

The Hydra UI is showing there's an update to 0.2.195. Should I update to that or ignore it and wait for the Docker to be updated?

Always confused by that. Generally speaking for all dockers that show available updates within the UI, should I just wait for dockers to be updated from unRAID?

Downloaded and installed this. Really digging on it....

Working perfectly for Sonarr. Having a minor issue with CouchPotato...

In CP, I end up with two copies of a movie.

  • One in /mnt/cache/Movies
  • One in /mnt/user/Movies

I have my docker settings as follows:

CP
/downloads  <--> /mnt/user/nzbdownloads/
/movies  <--> /mnt/user/Movies/

Sonarr
/tv <--> /mnt/user/TV/
/downloads <--> /mnt/user/nzbdownloads/

NZB Hydra
/downloads <--> /mnt/user/nzbdownloads/

I must need to change a setting in CP or NZB Hydra but cannot find it. Sonarr is working fine.

Looking forward to sortting this and moving LazyLibrarian and Mylar over to NZB Hydra - really nice to get things in one place.

Thanks!

@jonathanm - i thought the same. But in the past, with just CP running, this did not happen. I will check when I get home and have access to my box.

@CHBMB - I will do that. I had been wondering how Radarr was. The fact that it was fairly new and CP was working for me made it a low priority. But I really like Sonarr so will take Radarr for a spin.

Anyone care to help me?

I don't really know what has happened, but here goes:
hydra cannot get the "categories" from sabnzbdvpn. When tailing the nzbhydra.log, it says
"SSLError: [SSL: CERIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed (_ssl.c:661)"

Though it could be wrong API-key, so i generated a new one in both dockers, but to no avail.

It's also been so long since I first set this up, I cannot remember if I am supposed to put any certificates into certain folders or whatnot.
