david81
Little issue with my new unRAID system. Started trying to backup using Acronis to a 1TB disk in a protected array. Using 4.5b7. Twice the image transfer did not complete. Aborted both times. Now it seems that there is about 33MB showing as used but the disk appears empty when I browse to it through the share or through MC. Not that 33MB is huge, but it shouldn't be there. What are my options here? Quote Link to comment
WeeboTech
There is always space set aside for filesystem usage. Could this the situation? Also, if a file is open, and removed. The space is not usually free until the file is closed. This may require a reboot if you cannot identify the program that has the file open. Quote Link to comment
david81
Tried a reboot. Still the same. Seems like an awful lot of space for filesystem usage. Per the unRaid Main page: Size Free 976,762,552 976,699,896 Per unMenu Main: Size Used 1.00T 33.64M Quote Link to comment
Kaygee
deleted or failed items in the btree. Remove the drive from the array and re-format in different fs then bring back into the array. This means rebuilding parity at least once and isnt worth the effort IMO. Quote Link to comment
