I'm planning on downsizing me setup to a smaller build/form factor and will be using a Lian PC-Q25 case.  Its been a while since my last build so i'm little rusty.  And in reading elsewhere I believe a good, recommended MB and CPU combo is the

 

ASRock E3C224D4I-14S - New Egg Link

 

Intel Xeon E3-1230 New Egg

 

But it looks like MB has a socket type of 1150 and the CPU is an 1151, thus does not appear there are compatible?

 

Does AsRock make an 1151 server board?  Per NewEgg I only see a supermicro and gigabyte.

    1151 skylake motherboards are still very new and not really fully out on the market yet.  Either wait a bit and get a better selection of boards to choose from or just do a 1150 haswell build.
