January 28, 201610 yr Hello I have a 4TB external USB 3.0 HDD formatted as NTFS with a bunch of media files on it. The intention is to use it as an archive/backup medium which I can switch on/off when needed. Can I configure UNRAID so that when I switch the drive on, UNRAID detects it automatically and makes it accessible using the path //tower/share_name/? Can the same work for E_SATA drives configured for hot plug? I'd rather not have to migrate the data from my NTFS drive to an XFS volume if it can be helped thank you

I THINK it will also work for the E-SATA drives that are hot-plugged but have not tried it myself.
