unable to reach unraid menu

Featured Replies

I'm using unmenu and can see that menu just fine. When I try to get to unraid main it just comes to a 'the connection was reset' page. I'm not being prompted to enter the password which is likely the main issue. Tried accessing it on multiple machines with the same issue. Tried a reboot - same issue. Tried reaching it via IP - same issue.

Real pain in the ass since I can't start the array.

suggestions?

Looks like the web-gui plugin is corrupted on your flash drive

Its been forever and a day since I used v5 (and probably most people on this forum are in the same boat as I am), but I would delete webGUI-latest.plg from the flashdrive (plugins folder)  and see what happens.

Same issue - would someone want to put theirs up?

The file is 0kb... not sure if there's data loss or what going on.

Guess I could always upgrade to pro at this point.

can someone running 5 post their webgui.plg file?

I don't think that is the actual problem. There used to be an enhanced webUI that would load as a plugin. I think it was an early version of Dynamix before that got merged into unRAID v6. It is no longer available at the download location which is why you wind up with a zero byte file and those errors in syslog. It should not really affect your ability to use the original "unenhanced" v5 webUI.

From command line, what do you get with this?

ps aux | grep emhttp

Upgrading to 6 pro - thanks  for the help but I'm on the path towards fixing this debacle. Also, I like version 6!
