jonesy8485 Posted February 1, 2016 Share Posted February 1, 2016 Greetings. 1st post here. Is anyone aware of any issues I might have using this machine with unraid? I know I will need a SATA card for more drives and likely a better PSU. Are there known problems with any of the chipsets involved? I can't really find much of anything about using unraid on a 9020, and maybe there's a reason. I just have a lead on a good deal on one and would like to take advantage of it if possible. Thanks! batt01 Posted February 2, 2016 Share Posted February 2, 2016 I picked up a old Dell Optiplex 755 without a hard drive for 20 bucks at Goodwill. I ran the trial version of unraid and it worked fine. I see no reason why your Dell wouldnt work. You could load the Unraid trial and boot from it, just to be sure before ou commit to buy. Quote Link to comment
