Using the iPad with Unraid

Featured Replies

So...  I have been trying to find a solution that allows me to do all of my Unraid tasks from my iPad.  I am one task short for my basic needs.  The basics are that I need to be able to rename and move files around through the iPad.  I currently have File Browser installed which makes renaming the files easy but then moving them from the cache drive creates a problem currently.  Here is my work flow.

I search for an NZB and download through Safari on the iPad.  I send that file to a Dropbox folder for processing.  I have a Mac Mini that runs 24/7 and have set up a Hazel rule to move the file to the SAB watch folder automatically. It sees it immediately and works perfectly.  Once the file is downloaded I can rename it in File Browser but I have no way to move it to the Movies share as an example.

Any ideas on how I can close this loop? I have been unsuccessful in getting SAB to auto process movies.  Going into the Mac Mini remotely from the iPad can be done but is a pain.

Which version unRAID? Should be able to get all this done on unRAID without getting that Mac involved.

I use the FileExplorer app on my iPad and easily move files around between shares.

With it, I can also directly save a downloaded NZB file directly to the SAB watch folder.

And it also provides the ability to rename files.

I'm on 6.1.7

Clearly I am missing something obvious.

I will check that out.  Thx.

Why not simply implement Cochpotato and Sonarr/Sickrage to completely automate the process, including the renaming of files and copying to the proper folders.

If you must manually search.. try the NZB Hydra docker. From it, you can configure to send to Sab directly.

This.

Sonarr and Couchpotato do everything for me, even pulling down REPACKs and upgrading lower quality downloads with better ones.  I rarely, if ever have to manually intervene.

Farting about searching and downloading and moving stuff about yourself is like something I used to do 10 years ago...just before I discovered Sickbeard.

Sonar works great.  This is only for movies on my end.  I haven't had any luck with CP or SAB automation.  That would certainly solve the problem.

I am sure there is something simple to resolve this. Use the Dockers for CP and Sab from Linuxserver. POssibly you are confusing the internal ports w/ external ports for the applications.
