New to unRAID.... so "Hello" I'm ditching FreeNAS that I used for my virtual labs DataStores (they fully support VAAI) and I'm on the fence for unRAID6. The only thing I see is the lack of VAAI, but would like to see VAAI on the road map. http://blog.fosketts.net/2011/11/10/complete-list-vmware-vaai-primitives/ http://www.networkcomputing.com/storage/understanding-vmware-vaai-offloads-and-unloads/1578770159 I don't want to keep two NAS devices around when one will do. unRAD6 seems like it has a great feature set and adding VAAI would be the icing on top.

I cannot see that ever being done at the unRAID level as that is not the sort of thing that unRAID tries to provide. If it was ever going to be done it would need to be adopted by the KVM developers, and if by any chance that happened it would then probably end up in unRAID when the build got incorporated into unRAID.
