February 3, 201610 yr So i have encountered a bug that will not allow me to add disks. Basically i shutdown the the array. Go to the drop down menu to show 9 disk slots instead of 8 so i can add my new disk in and after i select 9 from the dropdown emhttp crashes. February 3, 201610 yr The drop down is only used to lower the amount of data slots available so that you can add more cache drives to a pool. You don't ever need to touch it unless you are adding a drive to a cache-pool
February 3, 201610 yr regardless shouldn't bring down emhttp Agree there. Just pointing out that you weren't using the drop down how it was intended to be used.
February 3, 201610 yr Author Ah that's interesting i will try this when i get home. Thanks for all the input guys!
February 15, 201610 yr Had the same issue, and in my case was solved by removing the 'Unassigned Devices' plug-in, changing the slots, and re-adding the plug-in.
