yippy3000
I had a quick question on what license I need to buy, basic or pro. I plan on building a NAS with 6 hard drives (one will be the parity drive) and an SSD m.2 for cache. My question comes down to does the parity, cache, or both count as "storage drives" for licensing? Yes, both parity and cache count for licensing purposes. If your cache consists of multiple drives in a pool then they all count. You should also note that if you have any other drives that re not being used by unRAID they will also count towards the license limits (unless you have Pro). I notice that you did not mention the intermediate level (plus) in the license types? Quote Link to comment
yippy3000
Ooops, I meant Plus, not Pro. Thanks, sounds like I need to buy the Plus license. Quote Link to comment
Bur0k
I think unRaid doesn't support NVMe yet. So if it is a SATA M.2 SSD it should work Quote Link to comment
