[Support] Linuxserver.io - Plex Requests

Recommended Posts

So I don't use a lot of dockers, but I got it installed and running. I pointed it to the address for my Sonarr and CP, added my api, and everything said "Success!" when I tested. Then I went to add the directories and realized I had to set up the mapping so I set that up in the dockers's settings. After I did that and everything was running again, I added the directories in my settings and hit the test button and I got "Error". If I remove the directories and test, it still says it is successful. Add them back, and I get an error. Can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong? Thanks!

No errors in the path's syntax.  I don't use PlexRequests, so can't tell you anything about specifics in the logs or anything else other than you're using Aptalca's Plex Requests and not lsio's (where you posted)

Sigh... too much clicking... don't know how I wound up in this thread. Thanks!

EDIT: Deleted my posts and moved them to the proper thread.

This docker has been rebased to ubuntu xenial with s6 overlay, please make sure you backup your appdata first before you update to this latest image.

As part of our repository restructuing, it has also been moved from lsiodev to main linuxserver repository.

When I use the /requests sub-directory as setup in config, I get a 404 error.

Appreciate any ideas, thanks!

Hey Hernandito,

You're not missing anything as far as I can see, just fired up Apache to check.

Thank you Mr. N.

I fear then that it has something to do with LetsEncrypt....

I just tested the Plex Request Channel installed in my PMS Docker and it works. Not a great interface or anything... but kinda does the job.

https://github.com/ngovil21/PlexRequestChannel.bundle

I have discovered 2 issues when adding TV shows. I am a Sickrage user. If I add in the Plex Requests (PR) from the docker, the option to either "download all past episodes" or "download new ones" does not work if I select adding ONLY the new ones. It defaults all old episodes to Wanted.

On the PR channel version, supposedly there is an "manual" option for the user to select at the end of the adding process. But again, it does not work. This will add all the old shows as "skipped".

So I am not sure if I would want to roll this out for my friends and family. Someone will add a daily show that has been running for decades and it will wreck my system. Or the opposite, I will have to manually add older shows to a recent show.

I think I am going to put this on hold for the time being.

Thanks again,

H.

Hi, all. One of my Plex Request users changed their Plex Username and they can no longer request content from me. Their old username is still shown in my User Management list. I've restarted both the plex and plexrequest dockers, and have looked for an editable config file for plexrequests to no avail, any suggestions?

So something weird is happening with this container. I dont know if its from the update but I left house for probably 3 hours and came back to my cache disk being full. In /mnt/cache/appdata/plexrequests/db/journal theres 4162 files all called WiredTigerLog.##### each file is about 100 megs. Is this an issue with a setting? So far its used over 400GB's for these files.

No, it's something unique to you.  Working fine here and nobody else has posted any issues.

I suspect your issues with Plexrequests, transmission, rutorrent are all a permissions thing.  Can't work out why you are having permissions issues, have you done anything at the command line?
