Was looking at my logs investigating another issue and came across this-

 

Feb 6 07:28:49 Brunnhilde sSMTP[15627]: Unable to locate smtp.mail.me.com
Feb 6 07:28:49 Brunnhilde sSMTP[15627]: Cannot open smtp.mail.me.com:587

 

I don't see anything in my settings at all regarding this server. Do I need to worry that my server is attempting to connect to someone outside my network?

    Yes. Setup and working. That's not the SMTP server though and I don't see that server in the notifications settings.

    Chrome (Android)
    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
