[SOLVED] Win10 virtio drivers

Featured Replies

I've tried installing Windows 10 x64 for quite a while now, but I can't get any

of the virtio drivers to work. I've tried stable, latest, 1.05 and 1.10. It recognises

all the drivers but never finds the harddisks. Can't get it to work with IDE either.

Windows 8.1 64 bit works with the stable drivers though.

you need to use the Latest virtio-win should be version 0.1.112

As mentioned, I've tried the latest drivers, as well as stable, 1.05 and 1.10.

I've tried "win8.1" as well "win10" (which only shows up on the latest ones).

None of them detect the disk.

Where did you get the Win10 iso from?  Some people have had difficulty with certain isos.  I have used the Win10 iso downloaded from MS with no problems.

Just figured it out a few minutes ago. I got the ISO from Microsoft's website but for some reason Google Chrome cuts it off at 2 GB. Just downloaded it again, got the entire 4 GB file and it works fine. For anyone having this issue, be sure your ISO is 4 GB in size and the md5sum matches a0d4271b7537732a060909fd39d54829.

Thanks!
