February 8, 201610 yr Subject says it all - i've looked around in settings and a few other places but can't seem to find an option. Meanwhile, internet searches have not been fruitful. Is this possible? Also, whenever i Update a docker, it starts the docker. Is there anyway to disable that functionality? Thanks!
February 8, 201610 yr Community Expert There are really 2 things to consider, updating the docker and updating the application in the docker. If the docker code gets updated in its repository, unRAID will detect this and indicate an update is available. However, a docker update doesn't mean the application was updated, and there could be an application update that unRAID would not know about because the docker code wasn't updated. Depending on the docker, some are designed to automatically update the application when they are started. Others require the docker author to update the docker to update the application. So you really need to read the support thread for each docker to find out what happens. You can also set notifications up to notify you of docker and plugin updates in the Notification Settings. Don't think there is any way to avoid starting a docker when you update it but there probably should be.
