November 7, 200916 yr Just to be sure I am understanding, you want to start over with a fresh clean flash drive? If I were doing that, I would first copy the entire contents to a safe place, and zip them. Then I would NOT format it, just delete everything except ldlinux.sys, which needs to remain in the root of the drive. Then you can extract the entire unRAID distro of your choice to the flash drive, and copy back your key file. After that, it all depends on what part of your previous setup you wish to retain, and which parts you want to configure all over again. The easiest way is to restore your entire config folder, and keep all of your previous settings and your old go file. Otherwise you can pick and choose. Some general and network settings are in ident.cfg, other network settings are in network.cfg, array settings are in disk.cfg and super.dat, share settings are in share.cfg and the shares folder. Other files you may want to restore from your backup config folder are your timezone file, and your passwd and smbpasswd files. If you chose to not restore anything but the key file, then you will need to reassign all drives and reconfigure all other settings, especially the network settings. You can use the Trust My Array procedure to avoid rebuilding parity. I would appreciate other veteran users verifying the info above for accuracy.
