Shares gone after rebuild

Featured Replies

I replaced a disk, and the rebuild completed last night. Now all shares are missing. Looking in Total Commander and Windows Explorer, each disk does contain folders which are the share names, and a quick random check shows the data is there.

I've rebooted twice since the rebuild completed. There are some odd reiserfs errors on the 'before.reboot' syslog.

I've tried pausing AdBlock and using Firefox, but the shares still don't appear on the webGUI.

The machine's specs are :

Looks like everything has that status.

Did you start array in maintenance mode?

Shares are recovered.

There are two directories in lost+found. One has human readable files, and the other contains a file called 'system.posix_acl_access'. And then there are 24 files without extensions that total 7.64gb.

How can these be recovered? Can they be recovered?

Try this

The lost+found files are the least of my problems. Shares are recovered. AND, I can't write to at least one of them.

I've rebooted my PC and the server. Tried Windows Explorer and Total Commander. Running reiserfsck again, but there's not much hope.

Can't write to: Torrents (share), disk3/Torrents (disk)

Can write to: DISK3!, every other share, disk1,2,4-10/Torrents (disks)

I cut all of the lost+found share to my local machine, then removed the share. Rebooted. Still can't write to Torrents (share), disk3/Torrents (disk).

Why, oh why does disk3/Torrents want to be alone?
