February 12, 201610 yr The unraid gui interface of my server is not responding. I feel I need to perform a restart to fix it. I want to perform a clean restart. Without the web interface I have to use command line. I cannot use the powerdown command as it uses the the web interface. I have read other posts that instruct to use the powerdown plugin instead (https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=31735.0) however without the web interface I cannot install - and I have not been able to find out how to install plugins manually.
February 12, 201610 yr Community Expert Well, that thread specifically says to not install it manually, and I haven't tried this on v6, but if you want you could try cd /boot/config/plugins wget https://github.com/dlandon/powerdown/raw/master/powerdown-x86_64.plg installplg powerdown-x86_64.plg
February 13, 201610 yr Author Thanks trurl, that worked. I was able to install the powerdown plugin and perform a successful reboot that didn't require a parity check. After the reboot, the plugin displays in the gui.
