Cant connect to UNRAID WebGUI

Featured Replies

hi all - I installed unraid on my server, and found it to be working fine. I then un-installed it, and re-installed it on my desktop, with the intention of trying linus's 2 gamers 1 cpu idea. After a successful boot up and everything, i tried accessing the webgui, and that is where m problem is. chrome just says "This web page is not available. ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED". I tried other browsers and manually setting the unraid IP, all with no joy. Also, I can ping it fine. Any help appreciated. Thanks, matt.

Have you tried connecting to the webUI using IP address instead of name?

Can you telnet to it or do you have access to the command line with a monitor and keyboard attached? If so then type diagnostics at the command line and it should save the diagnostics zip to the logs folder on your flash drive. Post it.

hi there - thanks for the reply. I have tried the IP adress, and that did not work either. I have direct command line access, so attached is the log file.

Thanks so much for checking into that. seems strange - i must have been pinging the wrong thing. What do you suggest I should do now? everything works on the network... are there some unraid settings i need to tweak?

You need to fix the network connection. If there are multiple ethernet ports on your server try another one. Check cables and plugs, both ends. Try another port on the switch or router, etc.

wow thank you so much! my mobo is weird and has 3 lan ports, and it seems two out of the three only work together, with teaming, so i tried the other one, and lo, it works! I've been working on this project for so long now, im getting tired  :D .

thanks again!
