February 18, 201610 yr I just got done building a new UnRAID server after falling for the Xeon good deal and I figured while I'm upgrading everything else, I may as well upgrade my thumb drive from a 1 gig to a 16 gig drive and also go from a Plus to a Pro license. However, I've run into a snag. I copied the old USB drive to the new drive (using windows) but the server gives me a boot error when I try to start it up. I installed a fresh trial version of UnRAID and it boots just fine but I don't want to lose my configuration by starting again from scratch. The replacement license instructions tell me to "Restore a complete backup of your previous flash device to the new device" which I did. Then it tells me to boot up, which doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

February 18, 201610 yr Author Have you run the make bootable.bat file on the new USB drive? Ooops! I did run it, but before I copied the old drive over. I just ran it again, and it boots up just fine. Now to replace my original license and then get the Pro upgrade. Thanks for the speedy reply! EDIT: All went well. I am now the much poorer owner of a UnRAID Pro server with dual Xeon E5-2670 processors. Thanks for the help!
