Windows 7/10 VM - Dual-Monitor Support

Featured Replies

Hey folks,

Just doing the ground work before attempting my first VM. I can't seem to find anyone discussing dual monitor support in Windows 7/10 from a videocard that has been passedthrough. Is it an issue, or is no one talking about it because it just works?

:)

Thanks!

It's not an issue for me. I'm passing thru a simple video card, XFX One R http://xfxforce.com/en-us/products/xfx-one-r-series#* on two displays, although a third display on the vga port wasn't successful. Also tested successfully playing 1080P content on both displays.

The next step is to try a different video card with 4 or more HDMI outputs.

Excellent! I was hoping it was simply a non-issue.

Thanks!
