November 18, 200916 yr Yep I bought 4 drives at $125ish after tax (maybe 5% cashback from bing.com which will nullify my 7% tax). I'm replacing all my 1TB drives with them. I hope to sell them for $60 a pop (the 1TB's) so it will barely cost me anything to switch over.
November 18, 200916 yr Darn you all, I could not resist the price for these 2TB drives even though i do not really need the storage. We shall see how well they perform and what the temps are like in my case. I will be using one as parity and moving my 1.5TB drive into use as a data drive. Going to be fun preclearing these babies for 3 cycles at the same time. I will let you all know when i get them and how they do.
