Networking Dropping Out With VM

Featured Replies

I am trying to setup a new server 2012 VM on my unraid box and since then I keep getting complete networking dropouts.  Everything from the shares to the webgui to the dockers and VMs I cannot communicate with.  This is happening multiple times daily.  Prior to trying to setup the VM I had no issues at all.

I hooked a physical monitor and keyboard to it to grab the syslog.  I cant see anything in it to indicate a problem.

This is when it dropped out and then I attached a USB keyboard.

Prior to this nothing in the log.

I then did some checking around at the interfaces and didnt see anything outstanding.  in fact, best I can tell it was all exactly the same as it is after I restarted networking.

Restarting networking fixed the issue but I really dont know the root cause.  Anyone know of something i can check?

Edit: I remove the nerd pack and a few other plugins.  I also noticed this happens most often when i am using the server manager from with windows 10 PC connecting to the Vm.  I dont know if that has anything to do with it as it is not *every time*.

Edit2: Did it again so the plugins I removed had no effect.  This time it stalled out trying to add the VM to my domain.
