[SOLVED] cant login to the server after power outage

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I have a unRAID Server Plus, which served me well for two years, and now, after accidental power outage, I cant access it anymore. When I trying to login to console with a correct username and password it says "Welcome to Linux 3.9.11p-unRAID (tty1)" and just prompts me to login again. The Web GUI does not work as well. I've already tried to check the USB for errors and rewrite the bzimage & bzroot files with no luck.

What else can be done to bring it back to life?

correct username and password

When logging in locally (or through SSH) or to the webUI, you have to use the root account

yes, I can ping it.

is it any way to reset the ROOT password? i didn't use it for two years, since I build the server, and can't find a note with it.
