move existing disks to array?

hi all

 

what is the best way to move data from non raid disks to my unraid?

shall i just mount the disk in terminal and move it the the user profiler?

    Assuming the non unRAID disks are installed in your unRAID chassis, using the Unassigned Devices Plugin to mount the drive should be a good option.  Then use Screen and Midnight Commander (mc) or rsync to copy the data onto the array.
