Orange Triangles Dashboard

Featured Replies

I am showing orange triangles in the dashboard on three drives, raw value on the Parity.... 65534, disk2.... 1459, disk 6....8

I am guessing these need replacing, also guessing the parity first?

My drives on this box are currently reiser would this be a good time to change them to xfs?

Orange triangle is normally a warning, but it could be an indication of a possible issue.

I would suggest posting a screen shot of the Main tab, and also posting the diagnostics file (Tools->Diagnostics) and then you will get a more informed reply.

Note that if you have to rebuild a drive you cannot change the format at the same time as a rebuild always gives you the same format as you started with.  Attempting to combine a rebuild with a change of format will result in data loss..    To change the format you first have to copy all the files off the drive in question as changing the format wipes any existing data.
