Kodi Libary setup UNRAID 6 options

Featured Replies

Hello

I just did a clean install of UNRAID 6 to replace my 5 setup

Now have transmission up and running and the next item on the list is to re-establish the kodi common libary I had running in 5 using sql and a kodi plugin

Running 4 Kodi boxes in house

What is the best option here.  I see something with Emby server and something from sparkball which seems similar to what I use to have.

want to use the best option out there :)

Personally, I use the LinuxServer.io MariaDB Docker container.  The Kodi Emby plugin is nice but I don't use it.  I'm sure it works well but I would rather have directs writes to the DB rather than syncs.

Is there some other links you could provide on how to set that up

When I did it on V5 I had to setup SQl and also install a headless Kodi server plugin

Install Community Applications.

Easiest way to do it, is to install the MariaDB container from linuxserver.io, then install the headless container.
