March 8, 201610 yr I think it would be very useful for a user to tag a post he/she has read that they find useful as a "favourite" then be able to see those posts from "show favourite posts" button. Then they could refer back to it easily in the future. Many times i have found useful info in a post and at a later date wanted to refer back to it and cant find it on the forum (or not easily or quickly). This would be great for a user to tag all relevant posts on a topic important to them for their server (for example gpu passthrough issues) Dont know if this would be possible to put into the forum or would even be an option in the forum software you use for the site.
March 9, 201610 yr +1 I’m using the forum thread notifications as a workaround for this purpose. Select notify on a thread and then go to your profile and on the “modify profile” drop down list select notifications and you’ll see them all.
