March 9, 201610 yr I've had good luck with the Biostar TA970 boards, and the Asus 990FX R2.0 PRO boards. Just depends on what you need for your VM host. I used FX-6300 chips on both boards. You just need to change your append statement to include AMD flags. append amd_iommu=on iommu=pt iommu=1 vfio_iommu_type1.allow_unsafe_interrupts=1 pcie_acs_override=downstream initrd=/bzroot was mine.
