bobrap
Is it possible to name discs with a leading zero? Disc 01 instead of disc 1. Thanks Link to comment
gundamguy
Is there a reason you want / need this? Link to comment
bobrap
Sorting of discs in some programs goes disc1, disc10, disc2, etc. I'd like to have them in actual numeric sequence. Link to comment
John_M
I use user shares in preference to disk shares. I suppose you could set up a number of user shares (calling them whatever you like) and limit each one to using a single disk, excluding all the rest. Would that help? Link to comment
itimpi
Is it possible to name discs with a leading zero? Disc 01 instead of disc 1. Thanks Not that I know off. The naming of disks is buried somewhere in the gust of unRAID so is probably not easily amenable to being changed. Link to comment
bobrap
Thanks, guys. I guess I can learn to live with it. I'm just old school and 2 always came after 1...not 10. Link to comment

I use a couple user shares, but, when I go into settings ang try to view user shares, none are listed. Only show up in Winders 10. Link to comment
John_M
Where are you looking? User shares have to be enabled (Settings - Global share settings). Then they should appear in Shares. FWIW the Mac OS X Finder orders things differently - disk10 comes after disk9, not before disk2 - so not strictly in alphanumeric ASCII order, but something more useful to humans. Link to comment
bobrap
Disc and user shares are set to "yes". Under the shares tab are two tabs...user shares and disc shares. Disc shares shows all my discs. User shares shows nothing. As I said, the shows show in win10. Link to comment
John_M
Since Windows can see them the user shares are working. Perhaps it's a GUI glitch. Some adblockers cause the GUI to behave unexpectedly - if you have one installed you need to whitelist your server. Have you tried rebooting the server? Link to comment

All is as it should be. Link to comment
