November 20, 200916 yr Hi guys- I've been using UnRaid for a very long time and this is the first time I've had problems with an upgrade. I'm hoping someone might recognize this problem so I don't have to spend a bunch of time messing with it. Unfortunately, I can't get a syslog since it hangs before it finishes the boot, but I snapped a couple of photos that I think show the problem. Since it's still working in 4.2.1, I can only assume that something changed in the drive detection routines. And I don't want to make any major configuration changes before I at least rule out something simple. I did try moving the controller to a different pci slot, but it didn't make any difference. The controller is a SYBA 4-port card using the SiL 3124 chipset. Thanks!
November 23, 200916 yr Author Just an update. Tom requested I skip over 4.4.2 and try 4.5b11. I haven't run a beta of UnRaid since the early days but I went ahead and tried it and it's working. Now to get those user shares set up...
