Hi Guys,

 

My new Supermicro motherboard does not have USB 3.

 

I want to be able to add a card to have USB 3 capability in Unassigned Devices.

 

Does anyone have any tips or recommendations on what would work?

I have used two cheap dexlan adapters that works both in unraid and passing it through. I have to check later which model.

It's only two ports though.

ok... Answering my own question, the linked Syba card below worked. I had to make sure I plugged the molex power cable to the card itself.

The product number of the Dexlan's I have been using is SX-206A. It uses a NEC chip.
