Featured Replies

Hi, so i got the "Too many attached devices." message on my trial version, just out of the blue, i've tried to reboot but when it boots up i can start the array, but when i stop the array and want to start it again the "Too many attached devices." comes up again i OLNY have the 3 devices attached, also what's with the reads and writes on my flash, it's only been up for <5mins.

Any DVD drives or card readers installed?

Nope, only the devisees on the screenshot.

How long have you been running the trial license?  Has it possibly expired, or is the time on your system incorrect so it thinks it has expired?

The number of read writes is 0x1999999999999999 when converted from decimal to hex which looks suspiciously like some special error value rather than the actual number of reads and writes.

I suspect maybe the 2 problems are related.

Those files are included as part of the download so it seems strange that they might be missing?    Have you tried looking at /boot/config to see if they are there?  If not then something is wrong with the way the USB stick was created so that it has not been mounted correctly.

Tried to do fresh installs multiple times, and even though reboot worked the docker will not start. But it's also beta, so going to give 6.19 a try again. :)

Oh wow.

So tried a brand NEW SanDisk Cruzer Fit, bought only because it was recommended from LimeTech, and i get - Flash GUID: Error - contact support.

It's just not my day, or maybe unRAID is just not for me  :'(

Support is contacted.

EDIT:

Tried the Kingston USB that i've been running since the start of the trial period, reformatted and unRAID reinstalled all on a other mac, and it seems to work now (6.2 beta)
