Hi all,

 

having some problems with getting my  SMB shares to join my active directory.

 

I have windows server 2k12 R2 running AD DS and was able to join my other computer to the domain just fine.

I made sure my address of the Domain controller was set my network settings as dns 1.

But when ever i goto join the SMB to active directory it turns off my Windows Server VM. 

 

So is it possible to join my SMB shares to a DC that is currently running on a VM on the same unraid server?

    I now 3 years later have the same question. Is there a way around this?
