Parity Check - Error -4?!

Hi Folks,

 

I've been getting email alerts from unRAID for the Parity checks, but I've noticed on several occasions that it contains a cryptic "Error -4". What does this mean?

 

Example (with slight redaction):

 

Event: unRAID Status

Subject: Notice [TOWER] - array health report [PASS]

Description: Array has 4 disks (including parity)

Importance: normal

 

Parity - WDC_WD30EZRX (sdc) - active 33 C [OK]

Disk 1 - WDC_WD15EADS (sdd) - standby [OK]

Disk 2 - WDC_WD20EARX (sde) - active 34 C [OK]

Disk 3 - WDC_WD30EZRX (sdf) - standby [OK]

 

Parity is valid

Last check incomplete on Tue 08 Mar 2016 11:00:15 PM PST (5 days ago), finding 0 errors.

Error code: -4

    That means that the last parity check was aborted.
