Since it doesn't provide any volume mappings I think it would only be able to store and retrieve things within the container.

 

Pretty sure there is already at least one owncloud container supported by our forum members.

I'm sure there's a template already for that version in Community Applications..

It is also pretty trivial to use the docker produced by the ownCloud developers.  They do not have an unRAID template but they provide all the information you need to fill into the default template on unRAID.

 

One reason for going with a different one is if it includes additional software that you want to sue such as Apache )for SSL support) or a heavier duty database in the container.  However for the light use I make off ownCloud I do not need that so went with the defaults.

I will give it a try but I wounder if this one have ....

 

Let's Encrypt (SSL (HTTPS) encryption works out-of-the-box. Optionally enable automatic SSL certificate regeneration at runtime for maximum security)

 

Should be nice if fail2ban is included as well :-)
